Green Oil Nation will begin their summer long road trip this weekend beginning with a local based arts festival that is being held in East Brunswick, New Jersey on June 6th with a rain date of June 7th . The festival boasts over 90 area artists who will exhibit and sell their work along side local students whose work will be on display. Demonstrations will also be held throughout the day, including glass blowing and basking weaving. In addition, all participants are invited to compete for cash prizes. The festival will be held outdoors at the Municipal Pond across from the library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
From East Brunswick, the team will then begin their journey south, towards Tennessee where they will be spreading their eco-friendly ideas and lifestyle to the festival goers at Bonnaroo while enjoying a weekend outdoors listening to a strong lineup of musicians including Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and the Beastie Boys.
Bonnaroo is a nationally recognized four-day long art and music festival that occurs annually in the month of June. According to Bonnaroo’s website, Rolling Stone magazine named Bonnaroo one of the 50 moments that changed the history of rock and roll due to the festival’s near-flawless logistics, peaceful vibe and unrivaled entertainment options.
